Methodology and data sources

MOT history comes from the DVSA MOT History API. Test station listings come from the DVSA active MOT test stations register, republished quarterly. Model reliability figures are computed from the DVSA anonymised MOT tests and results dataset. Coordinates come from Code-Point Open. All of it is published under the Open Government Licence v3.0.

We do not publish pass rates per garage: the public test data is anonymised and contains no station identifier.
